Introduction
That’s an explorative post to let users and devs to understand the real world Orivon uses, the reason which makes it so revolutionary and how it completely changes the browser experience on the Web3
Interesting stories which can help you and others to understand the Orivon vision and potential
A non-tech guy in the Web3
Imagine a scenario where a guy with low technological knowledge wants to try Web3, ok as today you may think there is no way it’s going to work, he is barely used to internet and even less with the DeFi concept
Actually Orivon would make it pain free, just download Orivon, and, start browsing. A mnemonic is already set up, wallet will automatically connect to each site does require it (possibly with different addresses derivation for privacy), he is browsing across Trustless Web3 socials without even thinking about what’s going on in the beneath
Then comes the payment moment, he wants to buy some products on “AmaWeb3zon”, website found from a shady user advice in a forum, but alt, the browser says that’s unsafe cause of “Low Security score”, scared out he searches for products in the browser tab
Until he ends up to Web3bay (Imagining it was already widespread and safe), this time browser shows high Trustlessity and Security score, he finds a cool gift for his friend, and proceeds to order
The browser now is asking a payment offering him various options, he first reads “Crypto, BTC, USDT, ETH? what the heck?” then he reads “USD: Instant bank Transfer” now he feels something familiar
Initially he is a bit reluctant because he is scared of internet scams, but since that famous browser his friends talk about says so loud that this operation is completely safe he trusts it “it’s only 20 bucks, who cares”
After seeing “Bisq2 payment gateway” has all green indicators for Safety he proceeds with the transfer, now the site says "Your order will be processed soon"
He just paid in crypto, using a Web3 domain, IPFS data, and a Trustless exchange Fiat → crypto, to a site verified to be safe by a trustworthy DAO without even noticing
A random guy beginner level in tech just used the Web3 and became a pro crypto user without even knowing
Now he wants to look around to earn some interests from his savings, obviously he is looking for the safes option out there
Again, he opens the engine and searches for “safe investment accounts”, the engine shows up a bunch of options, from actual banks with low Trustlessity but (usually) high Security score, to DeFi protocols with high Trustlessity and variable Security score
He will end up choosing a bank he already heard of and which trusts, or the thing with most green indicators shown as first results
Unluck wants that it’s still 2026, smart contract risks are still a big concern, and if he doesn’t care about trustlessity he is going to choose banks
But if our guy hates the government at least he would choose Trustless and “enough safe” solutions available within Web3
Ok lets move forward on time, imagine we are instead in 2030 and DeFi reached the same safety levels of CeFi, maybe supported by governments after falling in love with it trough Orivon and adopting it in a more widespread way, Wallets and key management for individuals becomes really safe and Orivon implements these as default, now your friend will easily use Aave to lend his savings, and… that’s it
As you see, any non-tech user could take decisions wisely without even thinking too much about it, take the best choise for himself related to his beliefs, especially the best choice between a Trustless but less safe Web3 option, rather than a Safer but Web2 option.
Meaning that he can easily take the best out of the Web2 and Web3 worlds at the same time, while Web3 protocols grows and works to outperform the entire Web2 and financial system
Cost-free internet
There is a reason that moves the entire Web2 to sell users data, ask subscriptions, use of invasive ads, the main reason is that it’s needed because servers costs (as well as company profit maxing, sure)
Orivon allows users to contribute to every decentralized Web3site execution on-the-fly, so that every bit of storage, or network, that a user consume, it’s first paid with the same or similar currency: storage, bandwidth, cpu or gpu resources etc…
Meaning that a Web3site may stay alive forever as long some people wants to access it
It is still to be defined how protocols will accomplish that and who is going to do it better but one thing is sure: Sites hosting won’t be a cost anymore
With Orivon all of that would be possible, just by opening a link (instead of downloading a lot of programs as by nowadays)
Development process for these kind of things will speed up drammatically, the Web3 ecosystem will be way more joined together and growing way faster with better quality
Easy decentralized protocols
Look at the user experience in Web3 today: you want to browse across Web3 socials to see what you like the most, so, you download install open setup Mastodon, then you want to try Nostr, again, download install open setup, then Matrix download install open setup, then LBRY so… you got it
I know what you are probably thinking, some of these has a fast web client, Nostr has multiple web clients, same for matrix, and LBRY has Odysee,
But remember that these are Web2 solution to access a Web3 protocol, centralized access subject to hacking and data theft
See instead what happens with Orivon, you open nostr.eth, and, it’s already there, ready to be used, no download, no installation, no setup (automatically connected to browser wallet to make up identity).
Just open Nostr.eth, and you are in the Web3.
DeFi users may tell that right now they don’t suffer from these complications, but again, they are still using Web2 basics, Web2 solution to access Web3 protocols, and that’s not safe.
A lot of developers still wants to opt for the Web3 solution, facing the need to reinvent the wheel, create a program, implement wallet, implement networking and then users obligation to install a lot of different programs
It becomes clear that we need a connector wire, a standard, an ecosystem, which makes Web3 once for all worth of the entire world adoption
We need a way to let the entire world take the Web3 seriously, we can’t say “Web3” and then the entire ecosystem has Web2 basics. That’s the reason for me taking the authority to say that a Web3 Browser ecosystem is the solution.
I could die tomorrow, or someone may take the Orivon idea and make it under another name in a centralized but open sourced way (like chromium), but the concept remains: Good user experience is the way to make Web3 mainstream.
And if you believe that the Orivon design can drammatically improve the user experience, then you have no reason to not think it’s the solution for Web3 to get widespread
The Bisq devs goldmine
If you don’t know BisQ already, it’s a well done decentralized exchange, it’s actually the most Trustless and Safer place to convert Fiat to BTC or vice versa
They use a system of DAO based on Bitcoin colored coins, strong incentives and disincentives system (Even 50.000€ bonds) for key nodes to stay online and respect their obbligations. In the end it makes up a resolution system extremely safe and neutral
Let’s dive deep into some problems Bisq devs had to face
First, they had to handle the work to well incorporate Tor into their program
Then they build a program from scratch in Java with relative GUI
Overrall, it’s pretty heavy and cpu intensive, so they has to handle performance issues
Then, it’s Desktop only, so now they need to build a new application for Mobile
And wallet support is just, the mnemonic. No hardware wallet, or something like this
Obviously no critiques to Bisq devs, they made a really great job and one of the bests DEX out there, the point is:
As today is actually a big struggle to build truly Web3 Apps, you always start from zero and reimplement Wallets, GUI, cross platform support, etc…
Imagine if the BisQ devs could build their program as a Web3site, Tor is already implemented in a standardized way by one or more Network Integrations for Orivon out there, same goes for Bitcoin Network, no more need to care about Wallets, mnemonic or hardware wallet
Just build the Frontend, adapt that for Desktop and Mobile, then, their own integration for BisQ Network access, BSQ Colored coins integration, and the actual exchange system compiled to Webassembly from any language they think fits their needs, that’s it
That speeds up a lot the development process, furthermore allows Web3sites to be more manageable and customizable by user will, I can use my Wallet way, I can use my Network way, the user has much more control, he has more owning, much more trustlessity
Last worlds
I hope these stories are enough to pass you the message, but most importantly, to give you the instruments to make the best critiques about the Orivon project, as for every topic, leave here feedbacks and opinions, or if it comes up to your mind, another example where a Web3 Browser could be so powerful

I appreciate it
