Introduction
To payoff the Orivon Project efforts (to contributors, devs, funds etc…) Orivon needs a way to get an income, here is the strategy to accomplish that
Obviosly we need to make sure to not violate the general web3 consensus and our core philosophy, using a fair strategy for the benefit of the world and at the same time to give a well compensation on merits necessary for the project to become realty
As usual you can leave feedbacks and improvements with a post down there
Earning strategy
Here all of sources of income and how we are going to implement it
Sponsored Sites/Apps/Integrations
Who makes Orivon compliant DApps, Sites, or Integrations could ask us to get sponsored within our Browser, and for higher payers also pre-installed in the Browser releases
Expecially if sponsored, Trustlessity and Security score will be always shown, and Orivon will reject sponsors to projects with a Safety too hard to determine or not considered reasonably safe
Pre-installed sponsored integrations instead should always have the highest Trustlessity and Security levels, or the widespread recognition and reputation (like USDT), that’s never overridable by higher payments
There rules are to keep Orivon reliable with high security and community compliance while keeping profits
Price influencing factors
Then there are some factor influencing the price of the Sponsor and it’s priority by other bidders
- Trustlessity level, the lower trustlessity level is, the lower the sponsor is going to be in priority, meaning that’s going to cost more
- Commissions impact, the more commissions a project applies to users, the higher the sponsor price is going to be
Where sponsors are shown
They are going to be mainly
- Already installed/integrated, possibly with the App icon or Widget already placed in the Dashboard (Both for Apps and Sites)
- Featured in the Orivon Appstore
- Shown as tool during widgets selection of the Dashboard
- Others… Places to discover in future provided that’s not invasive for users
Default search engine
A sponsor may pay to become the default search engine on the Browser, in this case only free, decentralized engines with an high Trustlessity and Security score are allowed
Trustlessity and Security score judgment service
A provider to offer the Trustlessity and Security score judgment should exhist, Orivon aims to be the best on Web3 Browsers trough a well organized system based on a DAO
Web3sites, Apps, Integrations, can pay to request an immediate Trustlessity and Security score assessment, then, due to services continuously updating, a subscription can be paid from projects to assure from Orivon continuous assessment over their upgrades
Anyway, most of assessments will be already done voluntarily by Orivon for a better UX, so that users can have one for most sites they visit, payed assessments are seen just as a way to make possible an outreach of 100% of DApps and allow Orivon to keep up with all of the assessments work
Conclusion
Browsers are the most important piece for internet and Orivon by it’s nature is a project that in case of success and widespread adoption has an extreme economic power, anyway we have to keep Orivon to sane values and keep it enough neutral to assure it’s success if first place, in the long term being sure that profits system won’t worsen at all the user experience or Web3 philosophy ideals
